Arriving from Out of Town?

Chances are, if you're coming in from out of town, you're either staying with family, or you're completely lost and confused. This page is for the latter.

Fying - LGA or JFK?

There's technically an Islip, NY airport as well, but very few flights come in and out of there...and chances are you're going to spend a little time in NYC, so you'll want to focus on LGA or JFK. In our opinion, JFK is the most convenient, with inexpensive public transit service if you don't want to rent a car.

Spending Time in NYC?

If you're going to spend time in NYC before the wedding, we recommend taking a cab from JFK, or for a cheaper alternative, the AirTrain. The AirTrain runs counter-clockwise around the airport terminals, so hop on the one that takes you to Jamaica Station.

Jamaica Station is a hub for subways servicing Brooklyn & Manhattan, as well as Long Island Railroad trains servicing Queens, Long Island City, Brooklyn, Long Island, and Manhattan. From Jamaica Station, trains run regularly to Penn Station, which is 34th Street & 7th Ave in Manhattan.

Public Transportation

If you're committed to using public transportation for your trip, then we recommend grabbing a train from Jamaica (or Penn Station if you're spending time in NYC) and hopping on the "Port Jefferson Line" to either "Kings Park" if you're coming to the ceremony, or "Northport" if you're coming to the reception. Both stops are just a very short cab ride away from your destination.

If you're staying at the Sheraton, then take the "Ronkonkoma Line" to "Deer Park" and take a cab to the Sheraton.
