The Proposal

An engagement ring has a funny way of making a man act weird. Once it's in your possession, you can't think straight and if you're not careful, you might raise some suspicions with your soon-to-be fiance.

This was the case late June of 2012 when Chrissy was convinced Justin was breaking up with her. His odd behavior over the course of a week-and-a-half period upon returning from Vegas for a bachelor party was concerning. So concerning, in fact, that Chrissy decided to take Justin out to dinner at a 5-star restaurant in an attempt to suck up and get him to start acting normal again.

After a delicious meal, and two hours of Justin acting cold & quiet, he decided to break his silence. It started with a walk by the water behind the restaurant...and any smoothness he might have been hoping to exhibit was cut short--as Chrissy's keen medical objectiveness noticed that Justin's heart was racing. An answer to her question of "why is your heart racing so fast?" was another question of "will you marry me?" To which she obviously said yes, as he proceeded to put the ring on the wrong finger.

They then went inside and toasted to a night that marks the beginning of a long, fun, and adventurous life together.

Now when Justin acts weird, he has no excuse.

An Extremely Fun Photo Shoot

Up until this photo shoot, we always defined "professional" photographs as holding the iPhone with two hands instead of one. This was a new experience for both of us, and the best part about it was that we had full access to the Library Cafe on Long Island, where we had our first date. These are some of our favorite photos (that we didn't ruin by sticking our tongues out or making goofy faces).
